Fiduciary Services team excel at Citywealth Future Leaders Awards 2022

Standard Bank’s fiduciary services team walked away with two medals at the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards Ceremony, held on 16 November 2022 at a glittering event in London. The Awards recognise young professionals under 40 in the wealth sector, aiming to profile leaders of today and tomorrow.

Anna-Marie Egré was named as Trust Officer of the Year, while Ally Jaulim won bronze in the Future Leader Initiative of the Year category.

“I’m delighted and honoured to have been recognised for the Future Leaders awards,” Anna-Marie says. “I am grateful to be part of such a talented team at Standard Bank, allowing me to do the best by our clients, providing bespoke solutions tailored to each family’s unique needs and circumstances.”

Establishing trusting partnerships with clients is crucial to Anna-Marie’s role as Trust Relationship Manager for Standard Bank’s International Fiduciary Services. She has almost 10 years experience in the fiduciary services industry and holds a STEP Diploma in International Trust Management and a certificate in Offshore Administration.

Ally Jaulim heads up the business development for the group’s International Fiduciary Services across Africa, with a personal focus on the East African region. He has almost 20 years experience in the industry, managing portfolios of institutional and corporate clients, structuring tax-efficient vehicles, and managing relationships for international clients.

“Receiving this accolade and being named as a Future Leader in the industry is a great honour. I would like to thank everyone who supported me for this award and I am grateful to be part of a team with such a unique offering, operating like an independent trust company but with the backing of Africa’s largest bank by assets,” he says.

These latest accolades cap another successful year for Standard Bank’s trust company, after being recognised in multiple industry awards throughout 2022.

“We’re looking forward to another successful year in 2023,” Anna-Marie says. “The industry remains an exciting and challenging environment, with client needs forever evolving in response to the changing landscape and clients’ personal circumstances. I’m sure that robust and bespoke international planning and structuring is going to become even more crucial in the coming years. We relish the opportunity to help clients navigate these challenging times.”
