Standard Bank’s Jael Crystal-Azah is named a 2025 NextGen Leader
We are delighted to announce that Jael Crystal-Azah, a Senior Relationship Manager in the Standard Bank International Fiduciary Services’ team, has been named one of the 2025 eprivateclient Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders.
Recognising excellence in fiduciary services
This prestigious annual list celebrates the leading young private client practitioners, including those specialising in trust and fiduciary services, private client tax, accounting, and family law across the Jersey, Guernsey, and Isle of Man.
Jael, who joined Standard Bank’s International Fiduciary Services’ Jersey based team as a legal specialist in February 2022, is an English-qualified solicitor and STEP-qualified private client professional. She has over a decade of experience spanning private practice, in-house legal, and fiduciary services across three jurisdictions, and was twice recognised at the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards, receiving the Silver (2017) and Bronze (2018) awards in the ‘Lawyer of the Year – IFC (Associate)’ category.
Jael’s impact on African client portfolios
Expressing her delight at this latest accolade, Jael said, “It is an absolute honour to be named as one of the 2025 eprivateclient NextGen leaders. I am grateful to have been recognised, and I would like to thank my colleagues for the nomination and the leadership for their support. I feel so fortunate to be part of this incredible team and I am excited about what the future holds.”
In her role as Senior Relationship Manager, Jael manages a range of complex, high-value fiduciary structures for some of Africa’s ultra-high net-worth families and individuals. With a portfolio which includes charitable foundations and Jersey prescribed NPOs, Jael has taken the lead on the development of a highly complex charitable foundation supporting children in West Africa.
