Melville Douglas ARC PCI peer group comparison Q4 2018

The robustness of the Melville Douglas investment philosophy shone through yet again in the final quarter of 2019 with solid results despite a challenging year in global markets. 

The fourth-quarter Asset Risk Consultants’ (ARC) Private Client Indices peer group comparison showed that despite tough trading conditions over the 1-year period, the Melville Douglas US Dollar strategies outperformed all their peers. The same applied to the Sterling strategies, bar the conservative fund that slid to third place, despite returning peer-related cumulative returns for the calendar year.

Apart from the short-term hiccup in the one-year performance, ARC’s quarterly report showed that all other Melville Douglas strategies outperformed peers on a cumulative basis.
