Red Flags features
Spot the tell-tale signs of fake emails trying to scam you into making a payment:
- Poor spelling or grammar in emails and messages
- Minor differences in email addresses to seem like an authentic one
- Emails and messages received at odd hours of the day or night
- Messages marked ‘secret’ or ‘confidential’ to prompt you to open them
- A great urgency around settling a payment
- Unexpected changes to bank account details
