Get the most from your international bank account

Learn how to manage and view your Standard Bank international account using Secure Messaging on the Online Banking platform.

Contact details

Please contact our Personal Banking Team for any changes to your contact details.
Be sure to advise us whether you are updating your residential and / or postal address.

You can do this by using Secure Messaging in Online Banking: 

  • Sign in to Online Banking using your login credentials
  • From the home screen, click on menu button at the top left side of the screen
  • Click on the ‘Help & Services’ option
  • Select the ‘Get help with something else’
  • In the free format message box, give us the details of the contact details you want changed
  • A Personal Banker will be in touch to help you

 

Account details

  • Select the account from the Home page 
  • This will show your account details on the right side of the page
  • Select Show all details for further information, and Hide details to close
  • Click on the Download button to download your account details
  • You can choose to print or download the pdf document

 

Transaction history and electronic statements

  • Select the account from your dashboard
  • Click on ‘Load More’ at the bottom of the page to view more transactions if necessary
  • You can use the filter to see your account history for specific dates up to and including the last 720 days
  • Click on a transaction entry to see more detailed information
  • Click on the Download button to download your chosen account statement
  • You can choose to print or download the pdf document
  • You can also search for specific transactions
  • Debits are show in red and credits in green
  • As you can download an electronic statement, this means you will no longer receive a paper statement.  However, if you are not registered for Online Banking your statement will be sent to you by email, in a password protected file.  The Bank will still provide statements by post where e-mail is not available.
     
    Please note that where an account is held jointly and one holder is registered for online banking, paper statements will be stopped for both account holders.

The account statement narrative is the transaction reference that appears on your account statement.

 

Order a copy or ad hoc statement

You can order a statement of transactions for a period longer than a year

  • Sign in to Online Banking using your login credentials
  • From the home screen, click on the menu button at the top left side of the screen
  • Select ‘Help & Services’ on the Home page
  • Choose ‘Your documents & Manage your statements’
  • Select ‘Ad hoc statement’

A charge will apply if this statement has previously been printed and sent to you. See our fees and charges for these and related services.
