How to add your card to Google Wallet on your Android device
- Open the Google Wallet app on your Android device
- Tap ‘Add to Wallet’ and capture your Standard Bank card details
- Follow the prompts to add and verify your card
- Once activated, you can tap your device to pay and pay online
How to add your card to Google Wallet on your watch
This only adds your card to your watch, not your phone
- Open the Google Wallet app on your watch
- Tap ‘Get started’
- Activate screen lock as a security measure
- Follow the instructions on your phone to add your debit card to your watch.
Add your card using the Standard Bank app
STEP 01: Login to the banking app
STEP 02: Navigate to ‘Manage cards’, tap the ‘Add to Google Pay’ button on the preferred card
STEP 03: Follow the on-screen instructions
Including accepting the Terms & Conditions and, if needed, verifying your identity with the one-time passcode sent to your phone via SMS
STEP 04: Confirmation
You'll see on-screen confirmation when your card is successfully added, and you'll receive an SMS notification.

Open your Google Wallet app
Select your card from the home screen
Tap ‘Details’
Tap ‘Make default for contactless’
